Wasn't going to happen. Like I said Breeland getting upset about the Norman signing was not a good sign.

Anderson from Alabama? He showed absolutely nothing. I guess w/ Murphy it just looked like he was starting to turn the corner until he got hurt. Would have liked to see him stay.

Can’t keep everyone, would you rather keep Bree and Murph now or Scherff next year?

I just think you do everything you can to keep those guys and worry about Scherff next year. Would not have signed Richardson at all.

Obviously ZB isn't getting many offers, he hasn't landed anywhere

I don't know what the offers are (or were) that have been extended. While I appreciate the idea of not breaking the bank for big names, as has been done in the past - and rarely worked, you have to pay at some point if you want to improve the team. I'm stuck wondering a couple things. Is it possible that players just don't want to play here because they don't want any part of this team? Are they undervaluing players - both our own and other free agents while other NFL teams are adding? Do they really have a plan to improve? I can't figure out what's really going on...

I hear it's still possible that they retain Zach Brown and Junior, and DRC is still a possibility, but they'll have to start writing some checks...

I just feel the Redskins don't really value their own guys. Never have under Snyder. Only on a few occasions. But they'll rush to pay guys from other teams in a heartbeat.

Morgan Moses and others have been paid. Problem is fans get emotional about players. We are not privy to their attitude all the time. I mean Twitter helps like when Breeland went off on it about Norman coming in I figured he may be done. We do have the records the coaches do on time spent in the weight and film rooms.

I don't think that's been true for a while. I can think of a ton of guys we have kept and re-signed. But at the same token, not every "great guy" is worth keeping from a football perspective. We have only rushed to pay DJax and Norman, in recent memory, and they both were one off's. We also have quietly extended a lot of our players over time. But some players (maybe a lot of players) do want to see what the market is, that's what the NFL is nowadays.

I feel pretty good about him ending up back here. He’s simply not going to get top dollar. He’s not a complete player.

Everyone gets overpaid the first couple of days in free agency, I like Murph but for $7M I wish him well

Eric Ebron is only 24, wouldn't hurt to take a look

Ebron was a former first round pick that had Matt Stafford to throw to him for four seasons and couldn’t do squat. Pass.
