Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
Rehab may take a significant part of his offseason time but that should not limit him from studying film, the playbook, opposing defenses or concentrating on mechanics. I relate it to Tiger fixing his golf swing while coming back from injury. You have to practice mechanic in once cleared to throw. Not revert, and blame it on the knee.

I'm pretty sure the majority of his time was spent on rehab, just learning how to walk and run again and he wasn't going full speed and cutting hard until he got close to camp. Again, hard to work on mechanics under those circumstances. Nothing really simulates going full speed in a practice with no limitations. |

Chris Cooley instructs Redskins: ‘If you want to be here, you better… get along with Robert Griffin III”

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
I know Kyle will never do this, but trash the RO, 3 men in the back field shit for a week. Spread out the field, mix in hurry up and run what he ran at Baylor. That's where he seems most comfortable. Run what he wants, not what they want. The season is lost so why not?

Watching film is fine but there no substitute for actual reps and building muscle memory. RG3 needed reps last offseason and he didnt get them. Hopefully he gets out of this season healthy and gets those reps. |

On 2nd < 5 or 3rd < 5 we should be running more RO to put pressure on the LB's. Right now, we run a lot of RO from 1st down and try to "CATCH" the LB's out of position. Most teams are going to run 7 man fronts against us with blitz packages now. We need to force the LB's up, so the 2 man routes are open over top like last year. Most teams are just rallying to the ball and forcing us in to 3rd downs were they know they have the advantage because our WR's are not much of a threat for separation. We ran a more traditional offense w/ a blend of RO against the Vikings, and it looked beautiful. We did the opposite against the Vikings.

It almost seems like a throwback to when big name players like Portis and other folks would be in Dan's pocket and complain about the scheme, the coaches, etc... I see RG3 doing it in maybe not a malevolent way...but i still don't think it's good...
