Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

I feel drafting a QB high is the best course of action to take. I'm getting tired of this franchise signing other team's QBs. Jeff George, Brad Johnson, Mark Brunell, Donovan McNabb, Tony Banks, Todd Collins, etc. Out of all of these QBs, only three of them have guided us to the playoffs. And none of them have taken us past the division round all in a 12 year period.

So, it's better to draft a QB. Have him study your offensive system, and build the offense around him. The Redskins already have very good pieces on offense.

It won't be Landry Jones; he's staying.

Wow, the QBs keep falling off the list. I am seriously beginning to think it's going to come down to RG III or a QB in free agency.

Which coach do we root for to get the Rams job in hopes of trading for Bradford

I would expect fisher to be the best coach. Didn't smoot mention that he had interest in trading Bradford, signing orton and collecting picks?

I don't think that's quite what I said. Regardless, with no Landry Jones the Rams asking price will be insane for either #2 or Bradford. I think they stay at 2 and take Blackmon

That means my mock i posted in the "and with the 6th pick" thread is one step closer to coming true!

Edit: After reviewing my own mock I had Khalil going #2 to St. Louis and Blackmon going #3 to Minnesota. I can see the two picks going either way between the two teams. They both need both positions. And that just means we are one step closer to getting the pick we want, some of us...
