Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
Just said this in the week 4 thread. It is at the point now where I am wondering how many second stringers there are out there that are better than Crapkins. He has the pedigree from OSU. Has the strong arm. Looks physically gifted. But he is fools gold. |

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
Yeah no chance in hell. Other than those two teams though there are not many other dumpster fires that need a quarterback. Denver? Philly? We are not far out of the running right now. We could easily lose two to the Giants. |

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
I think he's more accurate than Haskins but overall arm talent isn't close.

Point is accuracy is much more important than arm talent. Rypien threw some balls I have yet to see DH make. |

Per JP Finaly this morning:
Sources tell me that Ron Rivera and some Washington Football coaches met with Dwayne Haskins this week to make clear he understands he needs to play better or things could soon change

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
Main issues with George and Schroeder though were they were both douchebags who commanded zero respect from their teammates.

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
George was a total douchebag. I remember being shocked when the Cowboys (I think it was Leon Lett) dragged George around TX Stadium and not a single WFT lineman came to his rescue. That told me all I needed to know about what his teammates thought of him.

I imagine the biggest thing is his footwork. They must be frustrating to a coach. I really wish we knew whether Haskins was not seeing the field on not seeing open guys. Well ... we know what the N F L stands for.

Re: How Many Games Should We Test Haskins?
I think it's good to keep in mind that Urban Meyer told Rivera that Dwayne needs to be pushed, needs to be challenged, and that he responds well to that.
I think that's what Ron is doing here. I don't think he's ready to bail after 3 starts for him. Haskins loves a challenge |

He has been terrible by QBR, DYAR, and DVOA. Terrible. The only QBs who have been worse are Jones and Wentz, depending on the metric.
