I wonder if Ernie is going to be able to stick around past the end of this season?

What are they doing? Flip was the perfect coach for this year. I know we still have a good chance of getting a top 3 pick but damn lets not tempt fate.

They we're sorta starting to show a little life here the last 5-6 games. Wouldn't want that to continue.

@CraigStouffer
Craig Stouffer
Source says something happened between Nick Young and Flip Saunders at halftime of #Wizards #Sixers last night.

John Hollinger @johnhollinger
Wizards should have gone the whole nine yards with this and made Andray Blatche a player-coach.

@Holdenradio
HoldenKushner
Blatche when asked if players tuned Flip out, " I can somewhat agree with that". #1067thefandc

Am I reading this right? John Wall has 7 TO's in a winning effort?

You knew they were going to come out and win this game in Wittman's first effort against a 3 win Charlotte. Que 10 game losing streak now...

Yep lol. We still can't win on the road, so our 4 out of 5 road game schedule coming up won't help.

I love what Whittman says in his press conferences and his attitude of how to coach this team, but I wonder if it's because i'm a dissatisfied fan I want to see someone who gets in people's faces.

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread

How can anybody support this team? I really don't understand it. They're worse than a D-league, and that's putting it nicely. I've never seen a bigger embarrassment in my life, then this team. They make the 2009 Redskins look like Super Bowl contenders.

We have a lot of bad teams in D.C, but I've never been more ashamed in my life in any of them, than I am right now with the Wizards.

Then Ted Leonsis wonders why the Post talks down on the team and why tickets are sold for less than a $1.

Re: Washington Wizards 2011-2012 Ongoing Thread

I don't know why everyone is dissatisfied with all the loosing at this point. Right now we're better served to get a top 5 pick in this upcoming draft then we are to compete for a playoff spot that would likely be a first round exit if they somehow made it that far. Or worse yet we finish 9th or 10th in the East and get crummy draft position in possibly the deepest draft in NBA history missing out on an all-star prospect.

If they're still playing like this in 2 years then fine, make sure heads roll but complaining about the rebuilding effort at this point is premature to say the least.
