Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

My wife and I found this injured seal pup walking on the beach in Kilkee today. 50 locals gathered around wondering what to do, and the guy from New Jersey gets the Seal Sanctuary there to save it. Lol.

Re: The animals give their affection unconditionally, and they are less judgemental thread

Lost another good one (all animals are good though), our 18 year old poodle coco passed away. Ive had him for 8 years. My wife is handling it well and my daughter. He has pretty much just been sleeping alot for the last several months but always popped up for dinner and we would have to wake up two or three times a night to let him out. He never required vet visits and was just an awesome dog. His eyes were so blind looking but he got around just fine right up until the end. We were sitting in the living room tonite when suddenly he took a turn for the worse. On the way to the hospital he died in my wifes arms - she had just said to him that it was ok for him to go. Its bizarre but he understood her because he went. I imagine him just full of life now up there in heaven. I miss you buddy and Ill see you when i see you. Youre a good boy.

Sorry for your pain . We had 2 dogs in our 35 years of Marriage and both past away at the age of 13 . Our first was a pound puppy mix who was great with the kids ,our second was a pure Chocolate Lab who was a kid and till the day she died acted like one . I feel I was so lucky with the first two I won't try again . It will get better .

Sorry for your loss punch, he was adorable looking. My family had to make one of the toughest decisions today and decided to put down our 16 year old beagle Scooter. We think she'd had a second stroke and it was time to let her go and be at peace. She'd lost almost half her weight in the last 3 months and had started walking around aimlessly and would sometimes even get stuck under the furniture in the kitchen and start panicking. I'd like to think she had a happy life with us and now she's up with her old buddy Maja running around like her old self. RIP Scooter, we'll always love you.

I believe she is up there for sure. Sorry to hear about Scooter. My condolences to you and your family.
