I really wanted to see a VT win. Instead Clemson came out after halftime and blew us out of the stadium.

I will be skipping the repeat of the snoozefest that was lsu and bama. Easily the most painfully boring game I've ever watched. On the other hand I will be watching the Oregon/Wisconsin and Stanford/Oklahoma St games.

Yeah those are the bigger games i care about. The BCS just seems to get worse every year.

Im not a huge college football fan but VT is my faviort team. But its still rediculous they were ranked as high as they were and that they got a BCS bowl. The BCS rakings have become The BCS tv ratings.

Yeah it's all about the money. No way VaTech should get a BCS bowl after getting blown out twice by the same team. Boise St is more deserving IMO.

It was definitely the best catch ive ever seen live, and maybe the best catch ive ever seen. Just sick.

Does anyone remember this catch by Hakeem Nicks:

That bowl game was the first time i saw Hakeen Nicks in action. Ive been worried about him since th Giants drafted him.

Great games today. The Georgia/Mich St game went 4OTs, and this Rose Bowl is a shootout. And my Gators won so I'm good...

Re: Official 2011 College Football Thread

Justin Blackmon was in bed all last week on heavy antibiotics and barely practiced because of an infection in his thigh.... And he as 110 yards and 2TDs in the first half. What a beast.

Re: Official 2011 College Football Thread

The 2 main games today, Oregon vs Wisconsin & stanford vs ok st definitely lived up to the hype and expectations. And I know qb is our main need but I'll be damned if Justin Blackmon in a skins uniform wouldn't be absolutely badass!!
