Yeah I think he has a ref target on him for sure.

^^ twitter video of the play

Matt Ryan does do a pump fake which perhaps caused Chase to pull up a bit not wanting a late hit .. but Chase is a supreme athlete and that is just poor body control, poor angling on his part ... seemed like he assumed Ryan would get rid of it and didnt want to come in too hot that he couldnt avoid contact if he did release it

2020 CY would have stripped that ball for a TD.

Re: Falcons postgame

And the other thing not spoken-

Opening drives by opponents. I know they held them to a FG, but this defense needs some 5hour energy right before kickoff

Yeah that was horrible. They need to at least bring some competition.

Re: Falcons postgame

Scherff is expected to be out 2-3 weeks. Thomas is week to week, which is good news for us. Seals-Jones isn't Thomas and I could tell how this affected the offense.

I feel we got lucky here with both. Good news..Wes Schweitzer can play.

I think Logan Thomas makes a couple of those catches Seals-Jones missed or flat out dropped.

Nah, he clearly starts out with a two hand shove, and his forearm comes up to the neck area right under the mask. If he was going for the head he would have knocked him into next week.
