Re: Richmond Redskins?

would be cool for me, but not for the players. Richmond rivals the deep south w/its summertime heat & humidity.

Re: Richmond Redskins?

Training Camp is different than were they would be practicing during the season. So the practice bubble would be used during the season. A lot of NFL go away for training camp.

Forget Richmond. Move 'em to Mississippi.

I hear Brett Favre has enough land to host training camp.

Re: Richmond Redskins?

This is about as stupid of an idea as you can get. D.C. metro area is where the money is at not some working class city like Richmond. No self-respecting sports business man would move from the D.C. area. If Snyder moves the Skins to Poormond you can bet your ass a poor team like the Jags would have no problem immediately moving to the D.C. area.

Let's also not forget that people hate paying to watch losers like the Redskins under the Snyder regime...in D.C, area you at least have the corporate money flowing in, in Richmond all you'll get is blackout money.

The Richmond idea is for training camp only.

Instead of being an uninformed jack ass why don't you just follow the Seahawks? I'm sure living in Seattle you must know all about Richmond. The idea of being in Richmond is only for training camp. You should choose your words more carefully before you throw them around in such a cavalier manner. I have lived in Richmond my whole life and love it here. It is very offensive for you to make comments like that. If people hate paying to watch losers like the Redskins why are you wasting your time on this board?

This isn't extremeskins and I honestly feel like comments like yours make this message board look bad, and most of the people on here have a lot more integrity than you. I'm not a mod but I sincerely hope you get banned. Enjoy living in the great north west, where no one knows or cares what goes on. Have a nice day.

Re: Richmond Redskins?

It's just Training Camp. The Skins camped in Carlisle, PA for many years. Why not Richmond?

I will always believe that Super Bowl Champions are born in Carlisle, PA...just like the sign out front of Biddle Field said!
