Agreed. Tired of seeing the Skins grasp at free agents in their late 20s or older. Plus, he's not going to want to come here, which means we'd have to pay more than teams that have more to offer... like a chance to play in the post-season. Pass. Build through the draft and spend where it counts - QB, O and D Line. Fill in the rest with guys who are young and cheap (Torrain and Armstrong, for example).

Where are all of these great 24-26 year old FA's coming from?

He'd be a perfect fit in Houston.

Rogers is just as old as he is but worse.

Ironically enough, they were born 4 days apart lol... July of 1981.

I say make a run for him. I'm not sure I want Buchanon all that much. Rogers is a pretty good corner to be honest, he can't catch a cold, but he still covers pretty well. Imagine NA, Rogers and Hall as your top corners, move Barnes to FS and Landry at SS. That's a top notch secondary if Barnes can make the transition.

Lol, I made that statement as a shot in the dark. Didn't even know that were born only 4 days apart. Hell, I had a hunch they were born in different years.

FYI: Oakland dreamed of someting similar with Hall and Asomugha, but Hall and man-coverage just couldn't make it work.

I say we get him and we can use more man to man coverage. Enough of this zone crap that leaves the middle of the field open all the time. Forget Rogers and have Barnes as our nickel corner. That would be the best secondary in the league. CB-Hall and Asomugha Safties-Landry and Moore. Probaly need to get a outside LB and a DE.

32 teams could use NA

Asomugha probably wants to play for a team that's going to be a contender. Not the case here. Why would he come to the Raiders east? I bet the guy just wants to go somewhere where there is NO DRAMA. Baltimore would be the perfect fit. Solid organization/coaching staff and they need corner help.

Did everyone really think that when Shanahan came in that was going to make us a playoff contender? Playoffs are won with quality players not coaches and we are very limited on quality players. Teams are good when they have above average line play and that we do not have!!!!!!! We need to start drafting young players on the both sides of the ball. Meaning defensive and offensive linemen. First we need to get younger!!!

Absent a CBA with a salary cap we should without any doubt target him. A player of his skill doesn't hit the FA market usually.

If money is no issue, then yes, go get him -- but get Haloti Ngata from the Ravens too.

D-line needs more help than the secondary.
