Correct i love the skins but some of you think we are a lot better than we are. We are a mediocre football team we lack in a lot of areas. The upside to this is look at what are playing without but we still hang in there the Eagles, Cowboys & etc. If we straighten out a couple of wrinkles we will be okay in the years to come.

Agreed for the most part, but the draft is only one piece of the puzzle.

Between Vinny, Snyder, and even Gibbs we didn't hit so well in FA and we all know the coaching woes that The Duo has bestowed upon us.

Our drafts have been alright, but maybe not what we needed them to be, as far as we should have drafted for need to an extent. Also too many weird picks like taking Robert Henson and Cody Glenn.. it's like he gets a position and then tries to draft as many people at it as he can.

Re: Jason Campbell Says He Blacked Out After Hit on Final Drive

Jason is a true tough guy and he has earned a lot of respect from me this year. Is he perfect, hell no. He is frustrating at times. But, I do not think he gets enough praise for dodging bullets play after play after play behind a TERRIBLE offensive line. He knows before every game that he is going to get killed, yet he never quits.

I would have no problem with him coming back. Hell, he deserves a chance behind a retooled line.

Heyer is pathetic and the rest of them are average at best.

I haven't seen that from this coaching staff all season long. At this point what does it hurt to see what other players can do.

If there is a chance JC is going to be here next year, he needs to play as much as he can this year.

Well, if the starter at a position is playing awful and you have a guy behind him who could potentially start down the road, then maybe you make the switch. With the QB position for us, that's not the case. At this point I think it's important to see more of JC the next 5 games playing with guys who he could potentially be playing with in the future. No need to throw a nobody in there at QB. We know who Todd Collins is. I don't see any reason to make a move with JC right now. Makes no sense really.

Jason Campbell should eat my farts....this guy blows...this team will never win anything until they draft Sam Bradford...I wish Zorn and Sherm Lewis got concussions with Campbell Soup so they could all go away at once...

How many days until pitchers and catchers report for spring training?

So Bradford will make the protection better?

What makes you think Sam Bradford would want to play for the Redskins? Not to hijack this thread, but Bradford's of Cherokee Nation. His grandmother is full-blooded Cherokee which makes me think he may have an issue wearing a Redskin uniform. And maybe not, but it's def something to consider, especially when you're trying to start a new QB bandwagon (apparently the wheels fell off Colt Brennan's).

I agree the only way you bench JC is if he is not able to play due to injury

Re: Jason Campbell Says He Blacked Out After Hit on Final Drive

I'm not completely sold on JC either, but I find it funny that we have the worse group of starters on the o-line in the NFL and we talk more about the QB than the o-line. We have a guy starting at LT who didn't even sign with a team until halfway through the season. We have an UDFA rookie center starting at RG and an UDFA starting at RT. Rabach, while maybe doing better this year than last, will never, and has never been, one of the best in the league. We got him from Baltimore because they had someone better. Our backup RG, Mike Williams was retired for 4 years and came into camp at around 450 pounds. I'm not saying some of these guys don't deserve to be here, but this is really kind of comical if you think about it. These guys are who our QB is playing behind. I mean really, are we expecting a little more than we have a right to? Granted we had our regular guys at the beginning of the year, but the truth is, they're not very good either.

Totally agree. People are really kidding themselves if they think a new QB is going to magically fix all of our problems.

The OL is the mess that needs to be fixed. It won't matter who is under center as long as we keep ignoring the glaring needs up front.
