Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
CB being a pressing need kind of shows how bad the last draft was for the Redskins.

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
I think it's a bit too soon to consider last year's draft bad - with regard to the DBs taken. Many - including DQ think Forbes can play, and a lot of good things have been said about Martin as well. Either way, another CB with the potential to start won't hurt and it appears we may have the opportunity to pick a good one early in the 2nd.

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
Cooper DeJean looks like he could play CB/Safety and excels as a kick returner.
His highlight reel on YouTube is impressive. Fast, athletic and physical. As much as I want OL the most, if DeJean is there, BPA logic leans to taking him. The best OL ranked in round two (not reaching for one) are interior lineman. There are a couple of LB’s that are lining up BPA and we need. OT might be a reach at 36 and 40 with who is left. |

Dejean might not make it to 36. Hope he does. You need to take an OT at 40 even if it is a reach. Because JD needs all the help he can get up front |

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
If we draft a shitty tackle at 36 because we need it and he goes out and plays like shit we're just gonna sit here and bitch about Peters wasting a 2nd round pick on a shitty tackle. Like we do about Phidarian Mathis.

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
And if we only draft a project tackle and our shiny new QB gets killed then there will also be bitching at Peters not using the resources to get a guy. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Hopefully they have one or two gems in their pockets, if they pick one at 40 hopefully it is because they know he is good rather than reaching. Even if fans and media don't rate them

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
If we're down to developmental OTs, then I'd rather wait until the 3rd round, because there will be plenty of those available there. Use picks 36 and 40 to get players who have a greater chance of starting week 1 - CB, LB, WR, maybe even EDGE.
Let's not overcomplicate things and reach unnecessarily. |

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
defensive players are definitely the best value in top of the 2nd right now (and WR), and CB is a need. A bit bummed we missed on the better OTs though. We're in a good spot to get 2 players ranked above our slots, so it's not all bad.

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
I'd take any one of the top CBs available, but Adonai Mitchell and Edgerrin Cooper would be an amazing haul coming out of the 2nd.

Kool-Aid McKinstry looked good against LSU last year. Jayden threw away from him. Respect? I like that he is a little bigger, not pencil thin for a corner. |

Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects
Fisher Rosengarten or Kingsley. Take bpa at cb with 36 and bpa at OT with 40. I say that because there are some outstanding cb’s still there. Dejean and kingsley in the second would be a win.

This team can't afford to reach.
