It is still a long shot that she'd win (many Dems won't vote for her) but she has given herself a chance.
Accurate. It was the obvious choice for her.

Sinema makes it official, registered as an independent. Not surprising.
I think this will improve GOP chances by a lot. She is very popular among the independents in Arizona, but her only chance would be if the GOP nominates a MAGA candidate again as she would need to pull from both the GOP and Dems to have any shot at winning. As for the Dem I just don't see that they'll have any chance at all in 2024 with Sinema in the race. I guess the Dems could decide not to run anyone to try to prevent the GOP pick-up.

I think they have to run someone. It doesn’t matter if it is Sinema or a GOP it is a loss for dems regardless. Put someone yiu want to be a rising star knowing they have 6 years

Read that AZ is 1/3 independent.

Interesting.

Most of America is tribal.

You can't point this out - it implies G1 is talking out of his ass and we all know that can't be true.

We're all idiots in here .. this forum is really just a practice ground for sarcasm.

But Arizona is an interesting political island.

It helps me keep things in perspective if I remind myself that the daily life and needs of a Texas or Arkansas or Montana is vastly different from my urban yuppy life on the Mid Atlantic. My "america" is vastly different from the person next to me and the person 1500 miles away.

But Arizona doesnt seem like a State that you can easily toss into a tribal bin, not liberal, not confederate undertones ... its its own unique little snow globe.

My favorite and only Trump car decal is 'If I lived through Obama you can live through Trump" .. of course one was the greatest president of modern time and the other a narcisstic parasite but I like the general thought behind it ... "Youll live butter cup"

I leave that to people who live in Arizona.
