Re: Packers Postgame
On a more serious note, we say this every year but it's crazy how week to week the league is, you can remember it all you want during the offseason, until you see it happen again in the regular season it's hard to grasp... I didn't think we stood a chance.

Re: Packers Postgame
Concur with TH injecting life into the team. He's just that type of player and guy. If Turner can call the RIGHT game for him we can still win some games. Shame his arm just isn't there... really is.

Re: Packers Postgame
Right now, TH is missing Dotson, Brown, Thomas, Cosmi, Schweitzer. Let’s see what he looks like with those guys back. Also, to be fair this was his first game starting, he got better with more reps.

Also, have we heard anything about Trai Turner, even banged up he was really good early in the year, I understand he was awful against the Cowboys, but do we know if he's continued benching is more health related, play related or faith in Saahdiq Charles ?

Re: Packers Postgame
Yeah I thought the injury was behind him but you're right apparently it's still health related :
"Trai isn't quite where he needs to be yet," Rivera told reporters postgame when asked about why he made the switch. "My coach just told me I didn't look like myself," he said. "Truth is the truth. If I don't look like myself, then I don't look like myself. It's not like it's an oblivious reason, like, 'What's going on?' Everybody knows what I've been dealing with."

Re: Packers Postgame
DUB!
D played well (again). Packers - no third-down conversions for the first time since 1999. And scored only 14 points. Offense did just enough...But Heinicke was making me nervous as hell. He could have had like 4 INTs. I think he did provide that much needed spark, but I was wondering in the 1st quarter if we were going to see Howell. TH was that bad early. He played better as the game progressed. Hopefully that trend continues. I don't want to hear how bad GB is...Fuck that. They have their #1 QB, D is solid...we had plenty of starters missing too... Nice win. If you don't think so, you'll never be satisfied. |

Re: Packers Postgame
Rodgers was Check-Down Susie yesterday. And his demeanor was straight up doo-doo-butter.
I like winning.

Re: Packers Postgame
Haha, I did almost go with Discount-Double-Check-Down-Susie. That takes a bit too much time to roll of the tongue though.

Re: Packers Postgame
I don't get the Susie reference but I think you change it to Charlie instead of Susie. Sounds better your have the alliteration.
