Never was a fan of Jon Gruden and def do not condone his actions but let’s be fair. Now that it appears to be open season on practically everyone’s privacy let’s take a look at the players and other team staff’s emails. Do you believe for a second they haven’t made racist and inflammatory comments? Just seems to be a double standard being practiced on so many fronts. Again, what he did was dead wrong but what about everyone else (including Snyder & company)?

100% believe Gruden is just the fall guy on this, I'm sure everybody involved would rather avoid the spotlight if possible.

But seriously, anyone who has a company email should know from day one anything you send can come back on you later. Can't believe these idiots thought they could maintain privacy on a company email.

Also, making ignorant statements verbally are terrible, but consciously writing that shit down is another level IMO. This isn’t just Twitter…these are composed emails.

Totally agree but my point was what about everyone else? I can only imagine what players and others say about the coaches, etc. Racism exists in all races.

Don’t we think if they had dirt on Snyder with emails…you are reporting this right now and not the Gruden stuff?

I don’t think holding inflammatory statements back makes sense in Snyder case.

I can't prove it but the talk is that the league office is leaking these emails because they want Gruden fired - presumably for shit-talking Goodell back in the day. It also points to him being the fall guy - Allen is already gone and I'm sure if they have any incriminating emails including Snyder they are probably sitting on them bc they obviously want the harassment story with the team to go away.

So apparently Gruden was using a personal email, but Allen was not. Either way, still dumb. You have to assume any email sent to or from an employer's email is going to be discoverable.

Its not a bad strategy, at work my leadership team is so overwhelmed by emails they block emails they are cc on.

In my head i have a sense of urgency that i apply to responding to messages or direction at work.

1. Phone, someone calls me shit is hitting the fan
2. IM, better respond in 5 minutes or so
3. Text got a half hour to a hour
4. Email, sometime before xmas

Too much conspiracy here. Gruden said stupid shit in an email and got caught. I doubt there is some behind the scenes shit involving Goodell etc to get him fired. Thats crazy.
