Re: The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread
and here is our answer...
Ron Rivera made it very clear: no changes on D with scheme change/coaching moves, etc. "That makes no sense to me right now." Keim

Call up Houston and make a big offer for Watson. If you look at our cap space going forward we can handle he contract

Re: The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread
Do the Cowboys have any better talent than we do on defense? I know we don't have anyone like Diggs but it's not like they have tons of talent on d, yet they have seemed to right the ship.

Re: The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread
I don't think they have better talent. Statistically the two teams are pretty even on the defensive side, with the exception of turnovers. They are forcing 3x as many turnovers as Washington. That makes a huge difference, and is a true complement to their offense that is averaging 34 points a game.

Can anyone imagine if we drafted Herbert. I can daydream... the entire franchise is going in a totally different direction.

Heinicke is obviously not the long term solution unless he makes some serious progress before the end of the season, but I'm slightly more worried about this absolute sieve of a defense we're putting out there.

Yeah. Seriously. And Herbert is right now. I like Heineke. If we are talking about the Saints game though Herbert wins it even with the hail mary and other long pass. Heineke was bad. |
