The Eagles scored 36Pts on the Giants the first time they played and 3 weeks later they only scored 7.
Also, 5 out of the 7 games on last years winning streak were against teams we are familiar with.
The Redskins will win this game, maybe...

It always baffles me that teams are so bad at evaluating free agents. I mean, projecting college players is one kind of science, where you're trying to hit a certain percentage of picks. Free agents though, you know (or should know) what you are getting. The lack aptitude teams show in terms of pro scouting has always been interesting to me.

Because the thing is teams, generally speaking (and with exception), are pretty good overall at evaluating their own rosters. Sure, you're working with less information, but I think I speak from experience when I say you don't need perfect information to be a lot better than teams have been at signing FAs.

No way Morgan is back next year. The final three years of his contract are voidable.

He has gotten worse, at least last year he could block but it seems like he can't even do that this year. I do think he could be back but at a realistic contract, not that crazy ass contract he has now.

I really do like that he's a hometown guy who gives back to the community. It'd suck to lose that.

Re: Redskins Vs Eagles Pregame Thread

I don't think I have ever seen two teams as evenly matched, stats-wise, as the Redskins and Eagles this season: Watch Washington Redskins vs. Philadelphia Eagles [11/17/2013] - NFL.com

The thing that does stand out is the points per game we give up -- it is a good bit higher than the Eagles, even though our D is about the same in every other category (and even better in a few). That suggests that our miscues (on special teams and turnovers) are translating to more points for our opponents than is the case for the Eagles (and seemingly every other team in the league).

But no reason we cannot win on Sunday.

Feeling good about tomorrow. The Eagles have rattled off victories against the Raiders, Bucs, Giants, and Pack - without Rodgers! They lost to the Giants and Cowboys in there also. People are talking like they are the class of the division? IMO there is no class of the division, but the Eagles four recent wins are against some pretty damn lame competition.

Re: Redskins Vs Eagles Pregame Thread

I'm going to publicly pick against the Redskins in the hopes that me generally picking them to win is a superstitious act that usually leads to a loss.

Eagles 24, Redskins 21?

Somebody tested that theory against the Vikings. Forget who. Maybe you will have better luck. Lol.
