kneejerk would have been cutting him after the miss in Seattle in the playoffs, or cutting him after the miss in Dallas last year, or even after the two misses against Dallas this year. Now it's just time

I would have left him in Seattle...I believe without a doubt that the Redskins were winning that game if he had made that kick. It took all the wind out of their sails and fired up the Seahawks. I consider it possibly the most important missed field goal in my 34 years of watching the Redskins.

I agree completley, it might just be my burgandy goggles, but I think if he makes that kick against Seattle, its our game. Its thinking back to that kick that has always spurred my hatred for Suisham.. then he just added onto it over and over with big misses.

Laron Landry should be cut too, he got burned on two double moves for TD's in the game.

A kicker lives and dies by his clutch kicks or lack there of. Starting defensive players do not get cut for a blown coverage. It is just two completely different situations.

The kicker is cast in the correct position for his skills.........Landry is not. That is a coaching thing

I wish Swishy well. He was not the best but he was not the worst, either. May he fare well in the future.

Please correct me if my high school Spanish is failing me, but doesn't "gano" mean "I win" in Spanish? If so, he's definitely someone we want - he's a winner! Maybe he has a cousin named "Ganamos," too.

Re: Suisham released, Gano new kicker

in his 14 games starting with the skins, Hall has 6 ints. and 15 pass defended. not counting his picks, in those 14 games, the skins have a total of 13 picks. and i definitely haven't seen him get toasted as bad as Landry did( twice) on Sunday. i wonder why all the hate for the only legit play maker we have on defense?
