And I don't think anyone is worthy of forgiveness who hasn't actually sought forgiveness or admitted to doing something wrong. T.O. has never expressed any regret for his actions against teammates.......so why would I forgive someone who's never asked for it, shown any remorse whatsoever, or admitted they were wrong?

As for judging him? I, for one, judged him to be an a$$hole for years now. Nothing about these recent events has changed my opinion.
To be fair, he did apologize to the Eagles once he realized that he really was expendable and that they were going to bench him for the season.

Some humans I love and hope live forever. But I don't know all humans, and I can't possibly care about all human beings. TO is someone I just don't care about, my friend. With or without him on this Earth, I'll get along just fine.

In the words of Dolph Lundgren, "If he dies, he dies."

To quote TO’s publicist (what the hell does a NFL player need a publicist for?) “Terrell has 25 million reasons why he should be alive”

Will, I can think of 25 million reasons why the Cowboys should can his arrogant ass!

For all you PC (Politically Correct) folks from the TO thread crying about him being a human, how do you fell about fragile little TO and his 25 million now?

It’s not about the team (even if it’s the Cowboys), it’s all about TO all the time.

Thank you, Dr. Pepper and the whole Dallas Cowboy organization for bringing us this insightful Press Conference.

I think Jerry Jones has a lot of explaining to due! Most of it to Coach Bill!

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

The people who project themselves as the most happy, comfortable, and confident are very often the ones that are hiding insecurities; just because T.O. is a football player doesn't mean it's any different. I still don't see why so many people hold a grudge. This whole idea that since he has amazing ability, he should use it and not waste it or do whatever he wants with it. I guess T.O. isn't a real person. He's just a robot that should go out on the field regardless of what he's thinking and play football, whether he enjoys it or not.

Just remember this sort of thing happens every day: an individual that appears so confident or egotistical, who appears so happy with his life, who seems like nothing can hurt it, can be totally crying on the inside. Evaluate that with other people that you might hate who seem that way, and maybe you can see how sad it all is.

WE as people always look at Celebrities and throw away any thoughts of their well being. I do it all the time. I mean really, how many times do you take the time to really consider Russel Crowe's mental health? Or how about Darrell Green's? Its almost an assumption

As a player, I hope he can't suit up for the Cowboys for a long time.

As a person, I can't say I'm glad he tried to kill himself because I'm not a psycho, but I sure as hell am not sorry about it. I could give two craps if that dude lives or dies. That's the God's honest truth.

Well, we don't need to pay a ton of attention to it. He tried to die and lived, so let him get his help and move on.

End of story, no further media circus necessary. Who knows, the media could've contributed to his stress and looniness. He lived to impress them (or at least get their attention) and has been failing lately. His 3 catches for 19 yards against the Skins, dropped passes (especially in the end zone) and broken finger certainly didn't deserve any headlines. He needs attention like a toddler and it probably wasn't good for him psychologically.

I hate to make a comparison between T.O. and our soldiers at war because, really, we're comparing apples and oranges.

But as far as a newsworthy event, the war has been going on for a few years now and we've become somewhat numb to the reality of the killing and the violence that goes on every day.

T.O. on the other hand is entertainment. So whenever his name hits the airwaves, it's like Paris Hilton did something.

Comparing TO and soldiers is apples and oranges, but my point was that there are people in this country that die every day that have given much more of themselves for the benefit of others than TO. A lot of people are acting like we would be losing a national treasure if TO died, and that reaction just seems a little over dramatic.

You are 100% correct.

Unfortunately, look at us, we also fell into the media hype and Owens' own craving for nonstop attention.

He's like a bad rash that you can't ignore.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

OK, back to the topic. Sorry...

Owens has earned all of the "compassion" he receives. You reap what you sow, T.O.

As a human who's someone's family member, I feel bad for anyone's loss...but as an individual...I also find it hard to feel so sorry for him.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

Someone please tell me what has T.O. sowed that's worthy of reaping possibly losing his life??

If he's not worthy of compassion, then none of us are!

Wow, you interpretted THAT the wrong way.

Quick translation: He didn't care about anyone else so no one else cares about him. Got it?

I don't know what you think I interpreted the wrong way, but I'm open to finding out. No one cares? Maybe not here on Warpath, but surely someone somewhere is hearbroken over this.
