Re: Zorn Fired
At least this league source seems more credible than a JLC league source.

Re: Zorn Fired
I'm glad Harbaugh came out and poopoo'd the report because it sounds like BS. First off how in the world could Zorn be insubordinate? That seems almost comical. Second...they don't get to act surprised about his coaching methods...it's not like they weren't highly documented while he was here...JUST 30 MILES SOUTH. Cameron wanted more control and it wasn't going to work to have both. Period.

Re: Zorn Fired
So once again, Vinny Cerrato is lost in the discussion of how much he destroyed this franchise. People seem hell bent on bringing up people that were parts of his failures, such as Zorn and Jason Campbell. Honestly, anything that happens to Zorn and Campbell is not relevant Redskins news. Sure they were part of what was wrong with the team, but whether Zorn and Campbell succeed or fail elsewhere in the league shouldn't matter to the Redskins anymore and their fans.

For instance, did the guy suck or was he being coached or positioned in the wrong way. If AH gets on a team that plays the 4-3, and that team allows him to play his natural position, and he dominates, well we have to consider that the next time we bring in a player like him. If any team needs to learn from it's mistakes, it's the Redskins. |

Re: Zorn Fired
Yeah, I agree. I mean you can't blame Zorn for taking the job. I work at a pretty large company, and if htey offered me the CEO job tommarow, and gauranteed me $25 million dollars over the next five years... what am I going to say, no? That was 100% on Snyder for hiring him.... I dont want to get back on Snyder because I think that might be what made him finally realize he needed to change... but I kinda liked Zorn in a way. Not for our team as the head coach...but I certainly don't wish ill will on the guy.

Zorn's a good man though and his approach does have its merit. If I wanted someone to mentor my future kids (if I have any) or someone who needs support, Zorn would be someone I'd definitely consider. But to lead a football team, he just doesn't have the right approach.

LOL..........yeah well, I was kinda looking more for facts ...like his yards per catch had dropped(about the same) or less TD's(up) then before or not finding the open man. but as someone else asked are they canning the recievers coach also? One thing for sure players like him so I'm still trying to understand how you think Zorn stunted Flacco's growth as a QB? |
