Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
I believe I said this before in this thread, but Plaxico isn't a little guy. He is a big, physical receiver. Carlos is not a tackling machine he is a cornerback. Carlos was there to make the play, he just couldn't make the tackle Plaxico basically threw him to the side. The way I see it is, if Sean Taylor couldn't make the tackle (he got juked out by the same move somehow) then how should we expect Carlos to make it?

Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
Carlos has played pretty well so far this season. I think we need to chalk the Plax TD up to Plax making a great play. Plaxico is a really good reciever thats big and fast. He makes alot of Db's look bad.

You are one of the first one's to nail that. Whenever the Skins miss a tackle or fumble the ball or get stopped at the goal line, we immediately chalk it up to bad play on our part. We never give credit to the other team making great plays as if they don't come to play. That was a damn good play by a very good, albeit sometimes inconsistent, wide receiver. Plax made a couple of good moves in space with a pass that was on the dime. That's all there is to it. He made a great play - game over. |

Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
Now, back to B Lloyd. B Lloyd, the number 1 hip hop artist on the Redskins, is a talented receiver. His problem is, he doesn't agree with the game plan or the receiver coach. I know he hasn't done anything so far with the Redskins, but don't turn your back on B-boy Lloyd so fast. When he decides to put his differences away, he is capable of being a top number 2 receiver in the league. In closing, B-boy Lloyd needs to remember, that you can't sell a million records with the whole DC metropolitan area hating your guts.

Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
TheBigD: B-boy Lloyd doesn't have his act together, so the Redskins needed someone who wants to listen and play. This whole thread is about where is B-boy Lloyd, he's clearly sitting on the bench collecting money. Everyone knows he's very gifted based off the articles he wrote about his training in the offseason. Why am I talking to you anyways, Cowboy fan?

I know Lloyd is a gifted athlete and used to make circus type catches at SF, but like many talented players that come here, he has disappeared. Football is not like baseball where you can stick a good bat in your line up and have a better chance in winning. Baseball has one player at the plate, and to an extent, offensively baseball is an individual sport. That is not how it works in football. Dan thinks he can buy talent, which is true, but what he really needs to buy is chemistry. |

Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
My whole thing with NFL contracts and the players union is this: How is it that you can sign a multi-million dollar contract, and not EARN your money? Why is it that a team will be penalized for a player who does not perform up to their contract? And by me saying penalized, I'm referrig to salary cap hits that a team would get for a player not performing up to that contract. This is why I feel that unions in general, are bad for buisness, and bad for the country. A player could essentially ruin a teams salary cap status and future, just by being a bad apple. I believe if you sign a contract with certain guidlines and expectations, and you do not meet those, you will no longer be employed at no consequence to your employer.

C'mon, TheBigD, I was just messing with you. I was more surprised that you even responded to that. Hell, half of my family are Cowboy fans.
You are absolutely right, the warpath fanbase definitely know a little something about football. That's why I signed up! Hopefully B-boy Lloyd and Jason Campbell went on a fishing trip together during the bye week to get a little chemistry.

![]() I hope they did, because I want the Redskins to be the best team (check that, the second best team) in the NFC when they play the Cowboys. I am so sick of hearing analysts and co-workers telling me that the Cowboys haven't played a real team. |

Re: Where the Hell is Brandon Lloyd?!
I was just reading the clip about Gibbs getting ticked at the press. While reading that I saw that BL was practising today like he has been injured. Has he been injured and is that wher he has been as I have not heard this before. Who knows if Moss is down maybe just maybe BL can get going with JC.

I don't see him getting ANY snaps this game. Even w/2 new guys. Both Caldwell & Keenan are hungry to prove themselves, which is a welcome attitude for the team. Loyd is done, just a matter of time. |
