Re: The Official 2007 NBA Draft Thread
I think thats a great trade for NYK. They got rid of that huge contract that Stevie Franchise had......good move by Isiah. Wow I can't believe I just said that.
Heres a question for you SS, if you had to take one to be your GM, who would you take.....Isiah or Danny Ainge? |

Whats the latest on our boy Navarro out in Spain? Is there still a chance that we get him?

Marco Belinelli to GS, Dam! I was hoping the Lakers could land him.

He seems like a perfect fit for GS. I can't wait to watch them play the Suns next year.

Javaris Crittenton? A freshman? I'm sure Kobe's going to be stoked about that.

That might as well be the final nail in the coffin to Kobe's career in Los Angeles. Critt's as raw as they come.

Re: The Official 2007 NBA Draft Thread
I'll be conducting the train for Nick Young, boys... SC is in the house! Seriously, he's got a ridiculous fadeway that's near impossible to guard. Excellent from the line and can get to the rim (super athletic). He's a perfect fit with socal neighbor gilbert- they're going to be a solid backcourt for years to come (gil will re-up!).

Re: The Official 2007 NBA Draft Thread
We'll need a vet to start at the 2 for the upcoming season... I'm not sure you can throw Nick in there as a starter his rookie year and expect to contend for the East... not sure if signing DS to a 4-5 million contract extended over the next few seasons is necessary- b/c from what i've seen of young over the past three years, he's going to be our starter in the future (sooner rather than later).
Young's perfect for this system- he'll thrive in an up and down offense and he never runs out of gas. He's had several game winning clutch shots in college, and i can see him nailing a few off of gilbert drives in the nba. Plus he can sky. His offensive game is much, much better than DS's (although DS probably has a better man defensive game at this point). Young can create his own shot and get to the rim. Sick dunk |
