I think it is too risky to play him, because if he wins or they go on a winning streak, there is a QB controversy that we don't need. But i think, at the point that we are mathematically eliminated, they should probably play cousins and other folks since there is no reason to keep RG3 out there, and should he get hurt again or tweak the knee in a meaningless game, there is just no call for that....

Re: skins eagles postgame
we gotta stop the bleeding. Throw a tourniquet on this fucking coaching staff, cut it off, and start fresh. These guys are not that good, and I hate that its going to take another season or two of piss poor management of the clock and your franchise QB, horrible play calling, and atrocious defense and special teams until we switch to a new set of coaches. Start fresh while RG3 is young, instead of having to put up with the SHIT coach that is Shanahan. The game has passed him by, and if not for that fluke 7 game stretch last season where RG3 threw the team over his shoulder in spite of the Shanahans, maybe we would be alot closer to actually pulling the trigger and getting the fam out of fuckin town.
*Sorry for the tirade, but when I see so much talent (Alfmo, RG3, Garcon, Williams, Amerson, Orakpo, Riley, Kerrigan) go to waste, I just get upset. |

Re: skins eagles postgame
Well season is over. I hope the team can rebound from this sh*tty season. Having some money to spend is going to go a long way IMO. We need new coordinators, but more importantly, we need good players. Our o-line is non-existent, and that's going to get RG3 killed.
Since I don't have a hard on hatred for Shanny like some people here, I wouldn't be opposed to him returning. But it wouldn't surprised me if he is done. Like any HC, Shanny has done both good things and bad things. And even if things like the cap penalty aren't his fault (that'd be Vinny Cerrato's fault), most of the uninformed masses are not going to see or care about that. This may sound stupid to some people, but at least we're sucking for somewhat valid reasons (RG3 non-offseason and injury recover; cap penalty). Unfortunately, I think this year we had the perfect storm of the terrible effects of the RG3 injury and the cap penalties, with bad coaching decisions. and our weak areas being exposed (like the offensive line). We've had worst situations and hopefully we can rebound from them. I hope the cafeteria fans and those that love to "win" internet arguments don't gloat to much.

Re: skins eagles postgame
Watching SF and NO makes the product Shanny and co put on the field look like pure garbage. Imho.

Yet they'll make him look like Joe Montana, The Niners are good team with an awesome D.

Re: skins eagles postgame
It's hard to watch the Redskins games this season. They are just not that good. RGIII has struggled all year and this game sums up his season so far. Alfred Morris is a beast, but he's taken out of games in the second half. This is the worst defense I've seen the Redskins field in a long time, maybe ever. Through all the terrible years, we had pretty good defenses at least. This game sucked so bad that FOX switched to the Pittsburgh/Detroit game with 8:00 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

Re: skins eagles postgame
impartially speaking, who thought Washington actually had a chance in this game ?
I didn't, the Eagles are clicking in enough areas to be the favorite and that's what happened, no real surprise here |

The Eagles aren't that good. Better than the Redskins obviously, but not by much in my opinion. They still don't know how to put a team away. If this was any other team than Washington, they would have lost this one. Honestly, the G-Men have my vote as the team that will come out of this division on top. They are playing the best all around ball right now. If they beat Dallas next week...hmmm. Philly does have the easier schedule going forward though. On the bright side, it looks like the Redskins will have a top five pick in the 2014 draft. Oh wait... |

Re: skins eagles postgame
Anybody think there's any truth to the ref talking shit to Trent during the game?

Re: skins eagles postgame
It's interesting, but honestly doesn't impact our W/L record, so who cares? We should all know by now the "real" part-time officials we have are no more professional and little more competent than the "replacement" refs we had during the strike. The officiating this game against both teams being case in point.

Re: skins eagles postgame
If Shanny is fired it would have to come from Bruce's approval, if not then the same ole Redskins. I just don't see Bruce firing Shanny at this point, even at the end of season I dont see it, I can see them moving on from Kyle and Haslett after this season IMO. Who knows though at this point I don't even care. I just don't want Raheem as the HC or even D. Coordinator.
