Re: Washington Capitals 2008-2009 ongoing thread
I caught the last 7 minutes of the 3rd plus OT plus the shootout last night. Biron looked pretty stoic until the SO, as he came up with several quality saves. Theodore is looking mighty good, although he did get some help from the Flyers' shooters...

24-1-1 dating back into last season. The Caps are playing some damn good hockey. Nice to see such a vibrant team, considering hockey was all but dead a few years ago.

The Caps are getting great goaltending now. I hope this keeps going. Theyseem to have tons of talent, and I hope the Nationals can duplicate it.

I went to the philli game, and I have never heard that place so loud in my life...
I seriously will never buy a ticket to a Redskins game ever again... When I can pay 30$ for tickets, ride the metro, and immediately exit to a bunch of bars vs. dealing with the hassle of Fed ex. I'll take the former every time.

Re: Washington Capitals 2008-2009 ongoing thread
Please don't kick me when I'm already on the ground......just got in from the road trip home from the game. Very disappointed in the overall performance the team put out tonight, and tonight FED was even back. This is the very worst or at least the second worst performance of the season the flyers game last month was there worst outing of the season, but look how they rebounded. Gonna hope for the same......
Man, the CAPS played hard out shot the crap outta the jacks in the first, just couldn't dent the back of the twine? Had many chances a man up, even one power play with a 2 man add, still couldn't get one, just one of those nights. We out shot them 45/23 or so! Mason for the jacks played lights out. Then the jacks power play was very effective OR Theo was less effective (He had a bad night). The team did not look sharp for the better part of the game, the team played with a lack of effort as if they may have perhaps looked past the jacks! Theo looked average at best tonight, stick him right back out there against the Canadians tomorrow to get some confidence back after that performance! Washington Capitals - Recap: Columbus @ Washington - 01/09/2009 We'll be right back for the big BEE'S match up next Saturday night at Verizon! LETS GO CAPS!!!!! We will come back strong on the road tomorrow and get a WIN after this performance! Sidenote: Bumped right into Chris Cooley and wife! Also, Ms.VA. which happens to be a goalie.....and VERY,VERY SWEET was sitting in our section!

Oh YES!!!! Nice rebound. Had to sell my tix due to the bug, bummer to miss such a great game!
First we SLAP the BOTTOM FEEDERS of the NHL the sorry ass pens to the ice like a red headed step child! Sid the who....kid is about right in a mans sport. The GREAT 28 was dead on! Tonight take on the ONLY team in the EAST with a better record than THE CAPS for round two, and put them down like a bad habit! Better luck next time bees OR NOT! Theo another solid performance. Washington Capitals - Recap: Boston @ Washington - 01/17/2009 LETS GO CAPS!!!!!

Re: Washington Capitals 2008-2009 ongoing thread
Billy and I watched the Islanders game the other day. Really, kinda, well, not so happy with their performance. Yea, we won, but it was a pretty...boring game. We should've wiped their arses and won by at least 4, not by just one...eh. Oh well.

What's Olie Kolzig's record since he was released by the Caps? I'd appreciate any information anyone can give me.
