That makes two of us. This wouldn't be the first time the media has jumped all over a story only to find out it wasn't true.

Point it - it doesn't matter. Media gets its story either way.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

I just heard on the radio that he's already been released from the hospital. I find it kind of hard to believe that they'd already let him go home if he took that many pain pills, even if they did pump his stomach. I would think that they'd want to keep him for at least a day or two just for observations. But I'm not a doctor, so who knows.

I think he's being transferred actually. But I'm not sure

That makes more sense. I'm getting my news from Elliot in the Morning, so it's not the most reliable of all time.

You should know better - you have to have faith in the doctors, just like the coaches. Doctors know what's best, so drop the shorts and bend over.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

I actually felt bad for T.O. before this attempted sucide. I watched a documetary on his life on ESPN, it was talking about how he is paranoid, had a tough childhood, etc. I mean I don't think that justifies any of his action, but come on, the entire world hates this guy, he is severely emotional, suicide for a guy like this isn't a stretch. I suggest all you guys watch that documentary, it shows that T.O. is really messed up in head.

And by the way, who brings you guys the most up to date T.O. news? Of course yours truley. I was first with the T.O. signing at Dallas, and now with this. Keep it locked on HooSkins News for T.O. coverage!

Tom Friend has a cover story ready to go for ESPN mag about his life. He has gone through some screwde up crap. Explains a lot about his personality.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

Obviously, we don't want to jump the gun on this one but it's possible once the dust clears, the Cowboys might place on some type of 'inactive' status for a few games. But again, that's not the main concern right now.

With T.O. exposed to the daylight for the true nutcase he is, who will take his place as leading practitioner of Jackassery? Hmmmmm.........T.O. Shockey.............how does that sound???????? What teams are lining up to take the next flyer on him next? We can rebuild him, we have the technology. Yo' Bill, have a nice day.

Re: ESPN Report: Terrell Owens attempts suicide

Yeah I saw it when I came over here. I still come here everyday but yesterday when i saw it I was in the middle of something and couldn't comment. Put a smile on my face though.

Yesterday, I was laughing about the allergic reaction. Saying Sean Taylor was just finishing the job. Now, this is rediculous. If it is true and he wasn't trying to get attention, think if he got the opportunity to follow through with it. This is really sad. TO really needs to check out and spend time checking into a ward.
