You usually don't find all that much wisdom over there at ES, but that was an exception, a really good post.
Gibbs has always said he'll do whatever it takes to improve the team. He'll trade away draft picks, demote himself from playcalling, and cut underperforming fan favorites. All in the interests of getting better as a team.

The other thing I wonder about is if they've already spoken with Duck's agent/Duck about what he wants in the future and plan on him being here for a while even though the current contract runs out soon. Or they could expect that since the skins have great locker room chemistry, the best fans in the world, and are going to win the super bowl this year that he won't be able to help himself and will have to be a skin as long as they want him. Or...
