Rank is important because the defense WASN'T bad last year. Don't be obtuse.

Um, those losses were mostly contributed to the sorry arse who played QB with 2 INT's per game. Otherwise we were within 7 points in each loss, except 2 games which were blow outs.

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction

Secondary is terrible. Defensive coaching is bad. Offense is good with the exception of our offensive line, which is absolutely atrocious. Their defensive ends were consistently able to generate pressure against our tackles. Fortunately we were able to mitigate that threat a bit by getting RG3 out of the pocket, but if grossman had been back there we would have been lucky to score 20 points.

I told my buddy before the game that we'd have to double AJ green the whole game to have any chance. What does Haslett do? Play single man coverage with Hall against Green and stand off him 10 yards. Sure I understand you don't want to get beat deep, but THAT'S WHY YOU DOUBLE HIM! And people are surprised when he gets ~200 yards... WHO ELSE ON THE BENGALS IS A THREAT!?

That'd be Gresham who was abusing Fletch all game long (and no one is saying anything) or Hawkins who burned Crawford (which no one is talking about either).

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction

Also I still can't believe the refs didn't call PI against the bengals on that bomb to Hankerson. Or that they called a phantom facemask against D Hall. Probably wouldn't have changed the outcome, but the officiating was disappointing again.

And also easy to say in hindsight, but I would have gone for it on 4th and inches. Our interior o-line was getting good pushes, and Morris has shown an ability to convert in those situations.

Don't like the punishment RG3 was taking. Less college ball please. There are other ways of getting the opposing pass rushers to back off (screens? HB draws?)

Ok, ok, go back a little further. They have carried this team since 2000. The last 2 years we haven't gotten much return from our draft picks.

Griffen looks like the real deal. Two drives that were very long in yardarge with under 7 minutes to go... it was sweet. Too bad the Gaurd decided to push that end; he pushed him right into griffen.

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction

explain to me why we dug up a retired tackle to backup Trent Williams!?
2 areas (o-line and secondary) in which we needed help last season and still failed to address it!!
why is the medical staff still employed?
Fire Haslett and let Morris run the Defense!

Wouldn't mind seeing Morris step into Haslett's role.

Watch what you wish for. Haslett needs to go but I don't foresee Morris being the answer either. Unless you like the Tampa 2 defense. Which I'm not a fan of.

I'd rather suck this year, and hope a decent 3-4 Co-ordinator comes available. I'd crap myself if Rex Ryan got canned and we picked him up. He's another Norv Turner. Great DC not so great HC.

Re: Redskins vs. Bengals Post Game Reaction

Our secondary suck, that's evident. That's why we brought Morris in to shape the secondary up but seems like he still have ways to go. 10+ touchdown passes in 3 games already. I never was a Haslett fan and he continues to remind me the reason why I never was one.

Although we lost, there were positives. Griffin continues to impress us all. He did held on the ball little too long few plays but that's what you get for going deep. Almost a comeback at the ending, if not for penalties and and Hankerson injury, we would have had a good chance. I'm kinda concerned about how often Griffin take hits, we really need to try reduce that. Morris is a stud, he always find good holes and runs hard. Hankerson had a solid game, Davis played good.

Rob Jackson stepped up today in the game, he made some plays. Kerrigan is relentless! So glad we got him.

Some of you people act like the season is over already. Dude we still have many games left to go

I like Rex's playcall style but not his attitude. And I don't think Shanny will put up with it too.

Initially we were just giving him a shot in Training camp and he ended up playing better then Willie Smith and Tom Compton.

Because 12 hours before free agency started, we were hit with a 35 million dollar salary cap penalty.

Defense blows.

Losing Trent was huge, hope its nothing too serious.

Refs blows.

RG3 continues to amaze.

Defense blows.
