Re: Redskins Draft Analysis Thread
Who knows how truthful Shanahan is being. And VY is mobile and has a very strong arm, he would fit in just fine

We never should have let the great Rich Bartel go. Or your boy Chase, for that matter. Maybe we'll get someone like Devlin once FA starts. Or Jimmy Clausen...

Re: Redskins Draft Analysis Thread
Don't throw in the towel yet on Clausen, he was in a pretty bad situation last year. He's undervalued now and could likely be brought in for a late round pick in 2012 (or maybe AH...j/k)I'd be happy to see Clausen in B & G with a year to sit behind Grossman/Beck.

I'm still concerned about our O-line... I trust Shanny, but is Rabach still our starting center? He is turning 34 this season. Or is it Licht/Will Montgomery? Can Cook ever break the active roster? And Jamaal Brown - he's a free agent and probably wants a left tackle contract/money. I hope he stays, but if he leaves we're really screwed. Just saying - our O-line has moving parts as always, and seems as unstable as usual. Would've like to see a few O-line drafted every year. |

No, but at least we have youth to work with and develop along the line. We don't have that at QB

Re: Redskins Draft Analysis Thread
As one who looked at your draft from afar you guys did great! I am truly impressed with what B. Allen and Shanny were able to pull off. They out wheeled and dealed the best wheeler/dealer in the FB business in Belichick IMVHO. Great draft! You had the best draft in the last 10-15 years and I believe it will show up on the field this year! Shanny is a hell of a coach don't sell him short!
Great going guys, I only wish I could say the same about the Dolphins - if anything we took another step back and I feel will be in the Luck Lottery forsure! |

Re: Redskins Draft Analysis Thread
I added up each picks value against my big board, and the only three teams that are getting A grades from me this year are the Giants, the Redskins, and...the Vikings?

Is your big board/draft grading available for viewing anywhere?

Re: Redskins Draft Analysis Thread
WTF? I thought the Lions stole the draft taking positions of need that would start immediatley. The Vikes did well, as did the Eagles I felt.

The Lions follow BPA to a T.
