Two threads started by Gaints fans talking about the same thing...time to merge threads?

The Giants are really impressive. I don't want to hear anyone on this site complain about injuries. The Giants have been CRUSHED by injury. Who thought they'd be doing this with all the not just starters, not stars, out of the lineup. This game could get messy fast if the Redskins don't find an offense.

As bad as we looked the first game, we still only lost by 9 points. Obviously the Giants are better, but so are we. I hope we can keep this close.

Key is to get pressure on Eli. Browns did that, and I saw shades of Bad Eli that game.

All I want for (an early) Christmas, is a Bad Eli, a Bad Eli and a Bad Eli. We will definitely need Turnovers and Points off of turnovers, to win this game. But win it we must!

Re: Congratulations from a Giants Fan Ready for Next Sunday

Should be a good game.

The Giants are alot better than I thought they would be offensively and defensively. Until about 3-4 weeks ago i just wasn't sold. I'm sold now. They've got a great oline and great dline, an efficient qb (god, that's hard to say), and a wealth of big time talent and young depth. They are alot like we want to play. I think the biggest reason for they're success is their oline. They're just beasts.

With all that, the skins can still pull out a win. We're at home..which should mean something, we've got a pretty decent team too, we've just got to put it all together. We need some vintage Eli ints and the ability to run on NY's D. It doesn't matter how we win this one, we just need to win.

Why not give Sellers more plays? He is a big guy that would be hard to stop in the rushing/short passing game.

That same Sellers who dropped the 3rd and inches pass at the end? Sellers is a great blocker who can make an occasional play with the ball in his hand but we are not winning any Super Bowls by building game plans around big Mike.

I agree, he was pissing my off this week. However, I wouldn't mind him becoming a 3rd down back every now and then. He can and will move a pile.

He's definitley helped the last couple of weeks. Even Moss drops a pass once in awhile and he's a receiver. I think Zorn is seeing him as a weapon now in certain situations. The people jumping on Betts and Sellers seem to forget Portis fumbled at a very inopportune time a few weeks ago. Fortunately we won both games.

Re: Congratulations from a Giants Fan Ready for Next Sunday

I was looking at all the NFC East Schedules, and it's looking pretty good for all teams. We play the same weak ass teams we've already seen from the NFC East, and two bonus games. Your Giants are playing pretty good this year, so after we are done with them this week, I hope you guys can get the Wildcard
