You gotta define aggressive, he is averaging like 8.7 yards per attempt and he like leading the league with completions over 20 yards. So we are aggressively getting the ball downfield but not aggressive in just in throwing the ball everydown.

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

i think RT is really all we need. i say invest in that and when (BIG IF) the time comes that RG3 starts becoming a pure pocket guy, at least that RT is there.

i think what some people are overlooking with the read/option is how 1) AMAZINg rg3 is with his ball fakes and 2) just how damn accurate he is. we havent seen a QB with his accuracy/speed running this yet. might just be a new era in the nfl.

I hear this "new era" or "changing the game" stuff and I don't know. I tend to think that we're making an offense that really shouldn't work actually work only because of the singular talents that RGIII has. There are about 5 plays a game that are the plays that keep this offense moving...most of them involve him doing something only he can do. The league has never seen speed at the position like him, even Vick wasn't Olympic hurdler speed.

For a moment, I was "Wait, who are you and what have you done with FRPLG?" Then I saw the hidden sarcasm font. Brilliant. You got me.

"an offense that really shouldn't work" ... "5 plays a game that are the plays that keep this offense moving" --- Priceless!

FRPLG you are one crazy whacked out dude.

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

Seem to be a lot of firsts' around here for the last few weeks, might as well keep it going!!

RGIII- First Rookie to do basically everything
First Thanksgiving win over the Cowboys
First Monday night home win since LT broke Joey T's leg.
First significant win over Baltimore, gaining back our rightful place on the Beltway throne.

So this past off-season, and seasons past, the argument was "Mike and Kyle are so stubborn. They'll never adjust their offense to the QB's talents"

So what's the reasoning now?

It's not they're fault, Bruce Allen is.........holding them back.

They got a QB who can do anything/everything, right?

I'm not arguing, just answering. Your point is RG3 fits any scheme, right?

Well, now that hes jumped Jim Zorn in career winning percentage with the Redskins, I'd just put him in the Hall of Fame tomorrow.
