We already have the best Run D in the league, now u add a star S to go with an already impressive secondary. Awesome job

I was expecting them to give up a 3rd at the least. A 4th is outstanding. The only thing I wonder is he's a UFA after this year, can we afford him and then re-sign Swearinger the year after? Guess we'll cross that bridge when we have to.

Gonna be tough with BS coming up too. But we will see

You sign Dix and let Swearinger walk. I'm not sure DJ is as good as he is if our DL isn't as beastly as they are. I truly believe our DL is covering up some weakness in our secondary.

I don't know man, DJ is balling out this year at an all pro level. Gotta give him credit.

Most definitely. Not taking anything away from his play this year at all. Just over the course of his career, I'd take Dix over Swearinger.

Not only that...He is a legitimate leader in the clubhouse. Id look at extending him as well as getting something done with Ha Ha.

OMG WHY?????

DJ has provided leadership and is the only guy in the secondary consistently making plays.

Let's see what these guys can do together before making any roster decisions for next year.

Yes our front 7 is nasty but DJS has been an absolute ball hawk. With or without a good front 7 he has an uncanny nack of being around the ball....

This is my concern. Assuming we plan to resign Clinton-Dix, I wonder if it means we will be ready to move on from Norman. Dunbar is on extremely team-friendly contract and all other CBs are on rookie deals so I think we can afford to resign both Dix and DJ when it comes to that.

I'm definitely surprised by this move but I like it.

I don't think Norman stays after this season. I'd like him to, with a pay cut, but I don't see it.

Not sure if his 5th year option is transferrable to the new team (us) but if it is, he'll only cost ~$6M against the CAP next season. Tremendous value and Kudos to the #Redskins for pulling this off

Good point, I would think the option follows the player. Have to check on that.
