Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
Spags will make the defense better but will the offense be any better? People thought simply cause AS was going back to the Rams they would be the Rams of the SB year. Last year they were not. I really wonder how much Saunders coach in KC had imput to his plays as well as during the Rams SB year. If AS can get them scoring points then they will be much tougher next year.
I'm not to impressed with the Buc's new coach. I have not heard any type of rumblings through the league like we did for some of the other coach's being given chances. He's like a no name almost. I hope he can do something with the team especailly offensively but I'm not holding my breath. |

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
Is this the same Spagnoulo that The Little Danny interviewed last year for the Head Coach position and turned The Little Danny down or is this the Spagnoulo that The Little Danny interviewed and said that he turned Spagnoulo down because he was too inexperienced for the position of Head Coach?

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
The fact that Spags possibly passed up around $9 million in comparison to what he got from the Rams speaks volumes about the lack of confidence coaches have in our front office. I mean what did he get 4 years $11.5 million. Danny probably would have given him $20 million over the same time frame, that or part of the reason Spags turned down Danny was because he lowballed him.

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
Spags didn't come here because this is a highly dysfunctional FO. Snyderatto had already picked coaches and had chosen some players to be their special friends.
Zorn, a guy with no OC or HC experience, or an old burnout was all that Danny Snyder could get. Big question this off-season: Can Vinny improve his dismal 2008 draft performance? We'll only be a contender next year if the other teams in the NFC East implode or disintegrate. Dallas looks like they're on the way! |

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
this really helps the skins. the giants defense was only mediocre with him as the co- ordinator. now they will probably take at least a step backwards

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
I doubt it. The Giants have a very good ownership and front office, unlike the Redskins. They'll just promote from within and continue with the same defense that Spags was running.

As for who will replace Spagnuolo in NY, it will probably will be an in-house person since their first choice Dom Capers (an outsider) passed the offer to take the job in Green Bay

Re: Rams Hire Spagnoulo - NFL.com
There's a rumor, though I don't know how legit it is, that Spagnuolo wants to implement the West Coast Offense

Spags was just as hot but when Gruden and Shanahan open up, everyone just backed off.The Giants also lost their OL coach to the Dolphins,Spags seems to be ready to steel what he can away from the Eagles for his coaching staff. |

They looked mediocre against the Eagles in the playoffs.
