Didn't Burrass catch the Super Bowl winning TD 10 months ago?

A LOT of Giants fans forget this and want to write him off because he was suspended and they still lit up the Seahawks with him out.

Got to punish Jacobs' legs... he needs to be limping at halftime.

Re: Here we go again

I guess we could say the same about our D-line and Portis. Enough BS, I hope they are both healthy to play so there's no excuses if the Skins win.

They play, and the only way the Skins win is if the Giants just come out and play poorly.
The Giants scored 37 points on the road yesterday with no Jacobs or Plaxico. I don't care who is injured, a Skins win is NOT a forgone conclusion by any stretch of the imagination.

That said, this is Sean Taylor week at Redskins park. We will be intensely focused and inspired, and our D is gonna come out looking our for a fist fight. Believe that. Win or lose, this is gonna be a close game IMO.

Re: Here we go again

As much as I love the Redskins, beating the Giants is a big challenge. The Redskin defense has been exposed in the past two weeks against the run. That is the Giants strength. The Redskin defense will have to stop the run or else it will be a long day. The Redskin offense needs to open up and make more plays downfield. This means the offensive line needs to provide more pass protection so Campbell can even attempt to go downfield. The Skins need a healthy Portis and a solid contribution from Betts. The Skins will have to be firing on all cylinders to beat the Giants.

Cardinals weren't able to make any big plays down the field. Will be tough for the Skins.

We don't make big plays down the field anyway. If you stop Portis, you win the game.

The way your offensive line is playing, I believe you can beat anyone WITHOUT Jacobs and Burress as long as Eli is efficient. Therein lies the key for the Skins - rattle Eli into making bad throws. If Eli gets comfortable in the pocket, it will be a long day.

He's a forgotten man this year, for some reason. About 50 catches, but only 1 TD -- and he caught that one from Antwaan Randle-El. Not sure why Cooley doesn't get better looks in the red zone. I can't help but think the Skins are leaving points on the field by not getting the ball to Cooley in the red zone.

It might be do to the fact that we are keeping him in to block more.
