Shit I thought we got our asses whipped. Try 28-0 Denver with 7:47 in the 2nd quarter. Pure dominance.

Maybe they thought that because Ramsey replaced him. Ramsey replaced him last week because the game was over in the third. If for any other reason they are hippocrites.

The whole team sucked today. No excuses. I haven't seen a whipping that bad since we played Dallas in 2003. What the fuck was going on out there? 9 yards for Portis on 4 carries? they dominated us in every aspect of the game. Joe Gibbs better start getting angry real soon. Nobody saw this coming. Our defense hasn't played this bad since the spurrier days. There isn't a single positive thing you can take out of this game. I think our guys got a little too happy from the SF game.

Re: Redskins @ Giants game thread 10.30.05

This was a total team loss. No running game, which is our bread and butter. No passing game because of the constant pressure Brunell was on. Turnovers, penalties. Everything broke down today. We can't place the blame on one person. We lost the battle in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

If anyone here is blaming this on one person they're crazy. Everyone played really, really bad. Hopefully this is a wake up call for us.....

well, if our running defense is our weakness, at least we can have a little comfort knowing we play a team that passes 75 percent of the time next week.

While I questioned the conservative playcalling, I'm not convinced the Giants can sustain this emotional crap the rest of the season. The Saints beat the Rams after an emotional time after Katrina. Joe Gibbs is still the man and he will always be.

What's done is done. I'm going to enjoy the Eagles getting their asses whipped by Denver and expect to see the dominate Redskins team I know next week.

Matty I don't see anyone calling for Ramsey anytime soon.
He came in and picked up where he'd left off. Which was picking himself up off the ground. Now that I think about it, could we have thrown the game? Just kidding guys, just kidding.

Re: Redskins @ Giants game thread 10.30.05

ramsey did average 20yards a completion at least... (brunell was under 6), but i dont think he was really put in to win the game.
