Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Figured I would put these here, vs the Garrapolo thread:
Cap space / # of players on roster for 2018 Jets - 63M / 40 they will be in the KC market Skins - 58M / 41 Browns - 54 / 53 I can't see KC choosing to go here Cardinals - 33M/ 32 they have a lot of re-signing to do, but could make a pitch Ravens - 10M / 49 I don't see it, but it would keep KC in the region and they might be done with Flacco Jags - 2.5M / 49 They would have to do some SERIOUS cap juggling. bottom line: We will have the ability to keep KC, the question remains is the desire there on both sides... |

Carr is now ranked below KC, Carr was like the pre-season lock for MVP, greatest ever bs, etc....now Weintz is the next QB Jesus until he hits a rough patch. They like to build you up but they love to tear you down more.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
So the Raiders gave Carr $25 Million a year and it’s obvious Cousins is a better QB and possibly better than Stafford too. What does Cousins get next year? $30 million/year?

Who outplayed Carr? Carr is good, but I take Cousins any day.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
He gets the market rate for an above-average starting quarterback, which is typically 14.5% of the salary cap. Assuming the cap rises next year, that's what the number will be.

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
Interesting article.
Not sure the numbers can accurately reflect what is going on in the game with different personnel but it's is interesting and I agree with most of the rankings. I recommend everyone listen to Chris Cooleys Film Breakdown. Hour 2 for 10/31/17 if the link doesn't work. the TL R: KC made some nice quick reads but also missed a few big plays would've put us in a good position to win the game.Cooley has mentioned a few times this year that Gruden is calling good plays and WRs are getting open but they aren't "Open Enough" for KC. I like KC and most importantly I like having a competent QB but I'm scared that if we overpay for this guy, we won't be able to put talent around him to make him shine. |

Re: Cousins Saga 4.0. Is he done in DC?
I just want KC to start taking more chances downfield. He's become too much of a system guy, go where the read takes you blah blah blah. When he finally threw the ball to Doc he got a PI and then a TD. Yeah I know he dropped one but so what. You have to keep going to him. Throw some up to Pryor, he may or may not catch it but there's a good chance for PI.
I watched some of the Texans game on You Tube and Watson was really pushing the ball downfield against Seattle. Giving his wr's chances to make plays on the ball. I'm so impressed with that kid. |
