What is being black or white have to do with talent? Is that mean that a black QB or coach is not as good as a white one? What color was Riggo? Have you seen Gerhart play? He plays with heart and guts and has had great games against Oregon, USC and all other Pac10 teams. They play USC this weekend, I suggest you watch this kid play.

Thats why I love the O-Line. Its the only position in football with virtually no preconcieved notions of racial bias. Of course if one wants to argue the validity of stereotypes in sports then I suggest you look no further then the worlds game, where virtually every race fields elite players. Plus if white people are so slow then how come the worlds fastest soccer player is a white guy (Messi)? Using race to determine athletic prowess is as useful as a hangnail. In short Iagree with Fred.

Does everybody know that Atlanta got their LT with our pick in 2008, that we traded for those superstars Devin Thomas and Malcom Kelly.

Yep. He was really the last of the first round tackles, and no one would have said the trade down was poor in hindsight.

Of course at the time of the trade, we had no idea that Vinny had DT high on his board, and though we knew he had a hard on for Kelly, he jumped through a hoop to get him AFTER getting DT. Made the trade all sorts of pointless, since Kelly would have been around in the third.

Well if we had drafted him, we would probably have started the season with him at RT. He would have moved to LT and we would be in much better shape. We still could have drafted one of the three that we did. In Vinny's mind there was no talent worth the first round pick. Looks like he made a big mistake.

Another Vinny mistake was taking Landry. In my mind he is a bust, He has blown a bunch of games for us.

We took Landry with Adrian Peterson still on the board...

Although AP wouldn't look like AP behind this BS O-line.

I would have rather had Patrick Willis or Jon Beason.

I love London Fletcher, but Patrick Willis is a total monster.

What picks do we have this year (round by round)? I'm having a brain fart.

I know we are missing the 3rd rounder and either a 6th or 7th rounder.

I would love it if Brandon Spikes slipped into the early part of the 2nd round and we snagged him.

Gerhart's got third round potential, but I don't think he's our answer.

He's got game though.

Like I said, I would draft him on the 3rd if we make a trade or 4th if he lasts till then. We need OL first and foremost.
