When you hear other players describe Smith the word that keeps coming up is 'precise'

Also heard A Smith communicates better than Cousins with his receivers.

Hopefully this leads to better execution of the passing game.
Look for the fade then.

Training camp so far is not doing anything to stop the koolaid from flowing. Now of course we have to wait for preseason to drag on.

pass over that drank cause if the eagles can win a superbowl...anything can happen...even a dominant D-Line for the Redskins.

Training camp is always kool aid time, the regular season is all cold hard reality so I say bring on that sweet delicious kool aid, drink up while we can

I will always drink the Kool Aid just because when the time comes that we actually do win a Super Bowl again, I know I'm going to want to say I KNEW IT. EAT A BOWL, HATERS.

The media does a great job talking up all these stories about how well so and so looks in camp. We hear the same thing year after year after year. I just can't pay any attention to it at all cause it means nothing. Remember how great Doc and Pryor looked last year? Once the games started Pryor couldn't catch a beach ball.

I'm in wait and see mode w/ Smith. Yeah he does some things better than Cousins but he also is a conservative QB by nature. He has only gone over 4,000 one time in his career which is hard to do in the NFL these days. But he rarely turns the ball over. Smith sort of comes across as a guy who is good enough to stay employed as a starter, but really can't get a team over the hump and that's why two teams have moved on from him.

This is the worst flavored koolaid I've ever tasted.

Deep down in our souls tho, we all agree with this post in general. But I do think Smith is better for this team specifically than Cousins.

Not sure I agree.
Smith is a conservative QB for sure, but he is also a very good deep ball QB.
And even if last year was a anomaly, I still disagree with the "can't get a team over the hump" part: let's all remember the Ravens won a SB with Flaco, and the Jags went to the AFC championship with Bortles.

Not saying we're winning a Lombardy this year, but I really like our roster, and I don't think AS is the kind of QB that PREVENTS your team from winning it all.

I agree with this. I ain't saying it's doom and gloom but you have to see the results on the field, until then it's all lip service.

Re: Training Camp 2018

In all seriousness, this is the deepest roster across all positron groups in a decade or more.

AS is a legit NFL starter.

This team has real potential.

As always, the thing with potential since the beginning of time is realization.

I do believe the buzz, the hopefulness isn't misplaced.
