Let's admit two things about Carlos Rogers, and then move on forever.

(1) Carlos was better than we thought, we definitely miss him & all would want him back. I'd wager if we had a poll on this board on who would take him back right now (if he actually wanted to be back here), most everyone would say yes.

(2) It was a good decision at the time to let him walk, since he underperformed here and was unhappy. It was our decision along with his, since it is likely we could have offered him a contract he would have accepted if it was lucrative enough -- but we didn't think he was worth it at the time. Good decisions still have risks and hindsight doesn't make the decision a bad one.


The other thing is, we had a losing team, losing culture, bad locker room guys, and a dysfunctional front office. Players didn't mind leaving. I'd wager that more players would want to be part of our team now because RG3 is here, and if a Redskins player like Rogers was offered the same contract on another team now -- they'd be more likely to stick it out here because there's a lot of potential & a better locker room than before.
