Montgomery signs 4 year deal, Hankerson has hip surgery

"Per a source with knowledge of the contract, it’s a four-year, $12 million deal. Montgomery receives no signing bonus, but he’ll be paid a $2.75 million roster bonus in 2012, along with a base salary of $700,000 and a workout bonus of $50,000.

In 2013, Montgomery’s base salary moves to $1.85 million. He’ll also receive a roster bonus of $250,000 and a workout bonus of $50,000.

In 2014, the salary moves to $2.625 million, with another roster bonus of $250,000 and a workout bonus of $50,000.

In the final year of the deal, the salary becomes $3.125 million, with yet another roster bonus of $250,000 and a workout bonus of $50,000.

The cap numbers, if you care and if you’re still awake, are $3.5 million in 2012, $2.15 million in 2013, $2.925 million in 2014, and $3.425 million in 2015."
