But really, what are the odds of this happening?

But just a couple things. You forgot a ma (吗) to indicate that you are asking a question and since Haslett is a respected person, it should be nin (您) instead of ni 你. (IMEs are great)

Disclaimer: I'm NOT a fluent speaker in Chinese and had to take classes in high school to learn some of it. I'm also not trying to show off.
