i agree if we attempt to get luck or rg3 we arent going to have many draft picks left. i just think if the rams take RG3 then they are de-vauling bradford and doesnt warrant 2 1st round picks.

Fisher might look at RGIII like McNair they are/were both mobile/accurate/leaders.

Sounds feasible at first...but then you remember McNair was a tough ass dude, like the QB version of Ray Lewis. RGIII won't be the same type of mobile QB. On the scramble to pass spectrum, RGIII will be as far to the "pass" end as Vick is to the "scramble" end.

RGIII may well be the most exciting player in this year's draft, but I bet he's not among the top three QB's from this draft five years from now.

that is a very good point. Thinking Bradford could potentially come "on the cheap" might actually raise his value in other teams wanting to trade for him though.

Where do you get the logic that we won't have many picks left. We could get him only losing a 2nd rounder this year.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Please expalin, I know the fact that they have the rookie salary cap/scale that has to be counted when trading for Bradford based on his remaining contract.

If the Rams draft RGIII they are essentially 'giving up' on Bradford.
There is no way the asking price for a passed over QB is gonna be anywhere near 2 first round picks.

It's not really the traditional "giving up" situation when there are entirely new decision makers in place and they are in position to get the #2 QB in the current draft. All it's saying is that they prefer RG3 and picks over Bradford. if we get Bradford we are in the game...regardless of the cost.

Well, Shefter just said when Manning is released, the Redskins will have "all their eggs in the Peyton Manning basket" and WILL pursue him. Apparently also looking at Matt Flynn and Kyle Orton, as well as possibly moving up to #2 in the draft.

Me? No, I've already told teams I'm only signing with the Ravens or Jets

Teams don't ditch a potential franchise QB because they 'prefer' another QB.

When a franchise makes the decision that they 'prefer' another QB they are telling everyone that they don't believe the QB the had could become a franchise QB.
That is the ultimate de-valution.

You can label it however you like.
But if the Rams draft RGIII it is what it is.

All this is moot though, because I don't think the Rams are gonna draft RGIII.
And if they do I would be more then happy for the Allen/Shanahan to steal Bradford from them on the cheap.

I agree with one notable exception: if they select RG3 with the intent to trade him to the highest bidder. Then it doesn't say anything about Bradford.

Who are you referring to when you say "franchise" because in St louis the decision makers who believed in Bradford are all gone?
