Grossman was a inexpensive reclamation projects that bombed while Beck is an "upside" guy who showed he had no upside.
But had we pursued another one of the medicore pickings at the QB position in FA, we'd likely still be here, bitching about a shitty season. Even if we took a rookie, our defense would be much worse with out Kerrigan and that would cost us a couple games.
