And the story was not that great either. I don't think action-Tomb Raider is a genre, but if you compare 2 to other action games it falls short imo. Assassin's Creed II has better gameplay and a more open world, God of War and Bayonetta have superior combat systems, and Mass Effect 2 has an infinitely better story. Which is not to say that 2 was a bad game, but how can it be one of the best games of all time when it wasn't even one of the best games of its time?

Anyway, sounds like I should probably skip 3 given my opinion of 2.
