I guess I missed something in the Giant's preseason that would somehow make me think that they had a legitimate team this year.

Make no mistake - the Giant's are going to get rolled like play-doe.

There...I said it.

Enough with the "Giants will win because they always do" talk.

The Giants right now are a TERRIBLE team. They have more holes on defense than an entire week of FOX news. WATCH THE FILM. It's there for everyone to see. The Giants secondary is letting people run free. They can't cover. They can barley stop the run.



They don't even know, yet, who will be starting at middle line backer!


Now, for the offence....

In three games, Manning has attempted only four passes over 10 yards up the middle of the field. He’s completed two, both of which came on deep in-cuts by receivers originally lined up on the outside — one by Mario Manningham for 20 yards and another by Hakeem Nicks for 16 yards.

Manning is playing behind a re-worked offensive line. New receivers - this is not the 2007 Giants! Someone stole those guys and replaced them with a bunch of people who are not yet used to playing together.

One of the negative byproducts of losing WR Steve Smith and TE Kevin Boss is their replacements don't know how to work the middle of the field, a key area for Manning.

Eli [can I call him that?] threw NO TD's in preseason. None! He sat out the last game against the patriots....I guess he's cured of his 49% completion rate and will "really teach the Skins a lesson!"

Head coach Tom Coughlin remarked after the Jet's game that -
"several of the on-field issues
were those of the wide receivers, tight ends and running backs not running the proper routes or cutting a route off too early."

Not exactly where you want to be at your third preseason game, is it?

Then there are ST's.

The giants seem to struggle with giving up long returns. I'm sure this little detail has not even crossed Brandon Banks mind!

look for a TD from Mr. Banks and lots of holding onto the ball, till AFTER he gets across the goal-line. [Maybe even a few seconds longer for good measure.]


So, how is it that people are STILL picking the Giants?
