Re: 2011 NFL Draft

I come away impressed with Locker in every interview (NFL Total Access, QB Camp, Combine) and thr Year of the QB show. I also feel comfortable with the guy's parents and community support in his hometown. A real tell-tale sign, for me, about Locker's character is the manner in which his college teammates seemed to hold him in high regard. He looks like their undisputed and loved leader, that is an honor that is earned through the work one puts into their craft. Say what you want about his decision to go back to school, it takes a guy with character (and good family support) to bypass the pros and finish your college career (especially for the reasons he gave).

The QB position appears to be one of the hardest to scout in all of pro sports. And there is a definate risk in drafting one in the first round. But if I had to choose a guy to take a risk on, Locker's skill set and intangibles make me comfortable as a fan of the B&G. I hope he is our QB of the future.
