Methinks that Snyder has already decided on housecleaning but doesn't want to act until the end of the season.

I'm guessing if Shanahan comes in he will be able to set up his own front office structure, no?
Didn't they work together in San Fran at one time?

In that case you should be GM.

Two weeks in a row the defense kept the Skins in a game UNTIL the 4th quarter when the Skins had the lead and the defense had the opponent in bad field position. At that point in time, the defense folded like a card table chair...

Happened two weeks in a row. Has happened at least a half dozen times in the last two years - - maybe 8 times? The offense is not very good but the defense has to take its fair share of the responsibility for losing games. To this point, they have pretty much gotten a pass...

The game can't always be looked at in just the context of the final two minutes. Tryon's interception could have been huge, instead it was just another stat in the box score. Just like Fletcher's interception last week or Hall's fumble recovery.

Apparently Snyder was ready to fire Zorn around the second Philly game last year. Apparently an enraged Snyder blew a gasket after the KC loss this year. So I think he was ready to can the entire FO after the KC game. Instead we got Sherm Lewis, which I think made Snyder feel like he was doing something while still waiting for January 4, when pink slips become official.

When you're only up by 1 score you can't blame the D unless they walk off of the field really. Our satisfaction with just holding a damn lead has shot us in the foot ever since Gibbs II.
