Starting last week they replaced Steve Czaban's morning show with Mancow; now The Locker Room Show with Doc Walker and Kevin Sheehan is gone in place of Jim Rome, and the John Thompson show has been replaced by a FOX sports show with Chris Meyer. The only thing left is the Sports Reporters.

I think it may have something to do with football season being over, specifically the NFL draft. They did the same thing last year -- shifting to less Redskins-related shows. Plus, there's some dispute as to exactly how strong the Redskins are in this area.
It has a lot to do with football season being over, now that station (and others around the country) will use the "down time" to meet contractual affiliate demands. I would suspect heavy football programming (whether it's the same as last year or different) will return in the fall
