B. knows that when the Danny sees something shiny, he'll do everything in his power to get it. And that means this year's number 1, next year's number 1, and possibly next year's #3.

Good points, but I could see the Chiefs more likely trading with the Jaguars. Because if they fall past the Broncos they may not get the guy they supposedly really want-Tyson Jackson. Plus, I think there's a really good chance that Sanchez doesn't fall past the Rams at #2

2. This is pure speculation, but I wonder if Snyder sees enormous marketing potential in having the first Hispanic superstar in the NFL. I'm not sure what the demographics are on hispanic football following, but not only is there a large Hispanic population here in the Washington area, the possibility of selling Sanchez Redskins jerseys in southern California where there is no team, where Sanchez went to college, and where there are of course millions of first and second generation Hispanics new to american football in an area without a football team... I mean, again, I'm just spit-balling here, but yeah, you've gotta think that the first Hispanic Franchise QB is going to be a goldmine. And you've gotta think Snyder knows this. I mean, he's taking the guy out to eat... this thing's getting done... utterly ridiculous.

More good points, although technically there already exists Tony Romo if you're looking at Hispanic superstars in the NFL (deserved or not). But yeah, I mean how many times have I been saying this past week that every year (and more so than this year) marketability and economic considerations (ticket sales, jersey sales, etc) play a large part in every team's draft board (perhaps ours more than some others, such as Buffalo). I wouldnt' make such a big deal out of the dinner thing though, that's kind of standard fare at this point in the "recruiting" game.
