Will the Yankees catch the Red Sox???

I believe they will and I hope so.

I hate the Red Sox and even though I'm not a Yankees fan (like my wife), I have to root for them over Boston.

The Red Sox are my baseball version of the Cowboys.

If we're really lucky, the Red Sox will really stumble and lose the Wild Card to the Tigers (5 behind the Yanks for the WC, 7.5 total behind the Red Sox), but that's not likely.

Boston's "magic number" is 9 more wins. They've lost 3 straight and are 4-6 in their last 10 games, New York has won 3 straight and are 8-2.
