Fowler Jr. was an edge last year. Him and his 10.5 sacks are gone. No clue what you are talking about with no edges last year.

He credited outside linebackers coach Ryan Kerrigan, the organization's all-time sack leader, with helping him develop more as an edge rusher.

I'm not underestimating the other positions. I'm just recognizing a weakness on an otherwise loaded team.

Well aware of his 10-1/2 sacks and the fact he is gone. Well aware of the fact that Dante Fowler coming back isn’t putting us over the top. Once again, this team was one giant hole before AP got here. Now there is one. AP didn’t reach , he went bpa and im all for it.

Watch what our improved secondary does for whoever rushes the edge this year.

Why did you say we had no edges then last year?

Totally recognize that AP is doing a great job. Today's SB teams cannot have any weaknesses is the issue, and we have one. I'm frustrated because it hasn't been sufficiently addressed, and I am concerned our defense won't be good enough. I will be more optimistic about the ultimate goal if I see improvements and additions here but it is late in the offseason game. Wagner is 1 year older, Fowler Jr. is gone, Allen is gone, Chinn is gone, and many feel they reached on Kinlaw. Secondary can only hold on so long with modern day pro receivers.
